So as many of you may remember I have been planning a big circus themed birthday party for my son who turned 2 this year. Well due to some issues with the family not being able to make i to the event and lots of our friends having plans as well, we decided to cancel the party and just do an afternoon at chuck e cheese, just the four of us. Well you know what they say about plans. About three days before the big day, I started noticing Kaden just was not acting like his normal self and it just got worse as the big day arrived. Unfortunately he was in the bed fighting a fever most of the day. We decided to just pick up some cupcakes and sing him a little song the picture below is him devouring the icing of the cupcake.
I will spare you the image of what happened five minutes after the first bite of cupcake, I will however let you know that there was blue icing coming out his nose. Needless to say the rest of the week was spent with lots of vicks vapor rub and hugs from mommy and finally by Saturday he was back at his normal self and helped his sister and me put the tree up. So although it was not the party that dreams are made of, it's something that we will probably always remember.
